Qonaq evi, xanagah və ya meyxana (rus. Трактир, ing. Inn, türk. Han) — piyada və ya minik vasitəsilə gələn səyahətçilərin özlərinin və minik vasitələrinin gecəni keçirə biləcəyi yer. Müasir dövrün həm otel, həm də qaraj funksiyalarını icra edən binalara əvvəllər “qonaq evi” deyilirdi.
Səlcuqilər və Osmanlı imperiyası meyxanaların tikintisinə ictimai bir vəzifə kimi baxdıqları üçün əhəmiyyət vermiş və memarlıq nöqteyi-nəzərindən gözəl əsərlər yaratmışdırlar.
İki şəhər arasındakı məsafə uzun olardısa, orta ərazidə münasib bir yerdə meyxana tikilərdi. Buraya “Karvansara” deyirdilər. Şəhərlərdən kənarda tikilmiş bu tikililərdə bol su ehtiyatları, qəhvəxanalar (müasir restoran), ərzaq anbarları və heyvanlar üçün yem ehtiyatları mövcud olurdu. Karvanlar bir qədər yol getdikdən sonra belə ərazilərdə dayanaraq istirahət edir, özlərinin və heyvanlarının dincəlməsi üçün gecələyirdilər.
