Bu qurbağa parlaq sarı və qara zolaqlarla bəzənmiş unikal xarici görünüşə malikdir. Zolaqların naxışı hər bir fərdə fərqlidir və onun kamuflyaj üçün deyil, potensial yırtıcılara toksik olduğunu siqnal vermək üçün olduğunu göstərir. Yetkin fərdlərin uzunluğu adətən 2,5-3,0 santimetr arasındadır.[1]
