Oxyepoecus — Myrmicinae yarımfəsiləsinə aid olan Neotropik ərazidə yaşayan qarışqa cinsi. Bu cins Solenopsidini qəbiləsinin üzvüdür və hal-hazırda 20 növü özündə birləşdirir. Yaşadığı ərazilər Cənubi Amerika materikində əsasən Argentina, Boliviya və Braziliyadır.[2]

Oxyepoecus digər Solenopsidini növlərindən 11 buğumlu bığları, dörd dişli çənəryə və dişli ağıza malik olması ilə fərqlənir. Bundan əlavə gövdə qovşaqları yüksəkdir və tez-tez ön-arxa istiqamətdə sıxılmış olur.[3]
Bu cinsin biologiyası haqqında məlumatlar azdır. Lakin üç növ (O. inquilinus, O. daguerrei və O. bruchi) Pheidole və ya Solenopsis növləri ilə oxşar olması ehtimal edilir. Baxmayaraq ki, bu əlaqənin dəqiq mənbəsi məlum deyil. Bu üç növ IUCN tərəfindən "Zəif D2" kimi təsnif edilib. Onlar "yaxın gələcəkdə vəhşi təbiətdə yox olma riski ilə üzləşən" növlər hesab olunur. Çünki onların populyasiyaları "yaşayış sahəsinin (adətən 100 km²-dən az) və ya yerləşdiyi ərazilərin sayının (adətən beşdən az) kəskin məhdudlaşması ilə xarakterizə olunur".[3]
Oxyepoecus cinsi Neotropik bölgədə, Kolumbiyadan Çiliyə qədər olan ərazilərdə rast gəlinir. Lakin nisbətən Argentina, Boliviya və Braziliyada rast gəlinir.[3]
