Labridae — Əsasən parlaq rənglərə malik olan dəniz şüaüzgəcli balıqların bir fəsiləsi. Bu ailə 81 cinsdə təsnif edilən 600-dən çox növü özündə birləşdirir və 9 alt qrupa (tribaya) bölünür.[3][4][5]

Ənənəvi olaraq, "parrotfish" (Scaridae) ayrı bir ailə kimi qəbul edilirdi, lakin indi onlar tez-tez "Labridae" fəsiləsinin alt fəsiləsi (Scarinae) və ya tayfası (Scarini) kimi təsnif edilir.[6] "Odacidae" "wrasse"ləri isə əvvəllər ayrı bir ailə kimi təsnif edilsə də, indi "Hypsigenyini" tayfasına daxil edilir və ən yaxın qohumları "tuskfish" (dişli balıqlar) hesab olunur.[7]
