CYTH2 həmçinin sitohesin-2 adlanır — insanlarda CYTH2 geni ilə kodlanan bir zülal.^[5]^[6]^[7]

Funksiyası

Sitohesin-2 (CYTH2), əvvəllər Pleskstrin homologiyası,^[8] Sec7 və spiral formalı domenlər 2 (PSCD2) kimi tanınan sitohezin sinfinin üzvüdür. Bu sinfin üzvləri N-terminal spiral formalı motivindən, mərkəzi Sec7 domenindən və C-terminal plekstrin homologiyasından (PH) ibarət olan eyni struktur təşkilata malikdirlər.

Qıvrılmış spiral formalı homodimerləşmədə iştirak edir, Sec7 domeni guanin-nukleotid mübadiləsi zülalının (GEP) aktivliyinə malikdir və PH sahəsi fosfolipidlərlə qarşılıqlı əlaqədə olur və CYTH-nin membranlarla birləşməsindən məsuldur. Bu sinfin üzvləri zülalların çeşidlənməsi və membran hərəkətinin tənzimlənməsində vasitəçilik edirlər.

CYTH2 ARF1, ARF3 və ARF6 ilə in vitro GEP fəaliyyətini nümayiş etdirir. CYTH2 zülalı CYTH1 ilə 83% homoloqdur. Bu gen üçün müxtəlif izoformları kodlayan 2 transkript variantı tapılıb.^[7]
