Həyatı
Onun tədqiqatları əsasən Hegel fəlsəfəsi, mistisizm və əxlaqi relyativizm sahələrini ehtiva edir. Steys müvafiq olaraq İngiltərədəki Bat Kollecində, Şotlandiyada Fetter Kollecində və İrlandiyada Trinity Kollecində təhsilini başa vurub. 1932-ci ildə Amerikanın Prinston Universitetində fəlsəfə dosenti, 1935-ci ildə isə həmin universitetdə professor vəzifəsinə təyin olunub.
