Petros Ter-Matosyan

Petros Ter-Matosyan (ing. Bedross Der Matossian; 1978, Şərqi Qüds) — erməniəsilli ABŞ tarixçisi. O, Nebraska-Linkoln Universitetində Müasir Yaxın Şərq tarixinin professoru və Himen Rozenberq adına yəhudişünaslıq professorudur. O, həm də Tarix kafedrasının müdir müavinidir. Ter-Matosyan Qüds Yəhudi Universitetinin məzunudur, burada İslam və Yaxın Şərq Araşdırmaları Departamentində aspiranturaya başlamışdır. O, 2008-ci ildə Kolumbiya Universitetində Yaxın Şərq, Cənubi Asiya və Afrika Araşdırmaları Departamentində üzrə namizədlik dissertasiyasını bitirmişdir. 2008–2010-cu illərdə Massaçusets Texnologiya İnstitutunun Tarix fakültəsində Yaxın Şərq tarixinin müəllimi olmuşdur. 2014-cü ilin yaz rübü üçün Çikaqo Universitetində qonaq professor vəzifəsinə təyin edilmişdir. Onun maraq dairəsinə Yaxın Şərqdə etnik siyasət, Osmanlı imperiyasında etnik qruplar arasında zorakılıq, Fələstin tarixi və Erməni soyqırımı tarixi daxildir. Ter-Matosyan Erməni Araşdırmaları Cəmiyyətinin keçmiş prezidenti idi. O, həm də "Armenians in the Modern and Early Modern World" seriyasının redaktorudur.
