Avvakum və ya Habaqquq,Habakkuk ( חֲבַקּוּק‎, Havakuk; yun. Αμβακουμ, lat. Abacuc) həmçinin Həbəkuk (ərəb. حبقوق‎) (e.ə. 626 – e. ə. VI əsr) — Əhdi-ətiq peyğəmbəri, səkkizincisi. Məsihin gəlişini və Yerusəlimin əsarət altına düşməsini proqnozlaşdıran Avvakum kitabının müəllifi olmuşdur.

Adı

Avvakum və ya Habakkuk adı sadəcə Avvakum kitabında mövcuddur. ivritcə "חֲבַקּוּק" kimi yazılmışdır və başqa yerdə xatırlanmır.Septuagintada onun adı yunan dilinə "Ἀμβακοὺμ" (Ambakoum),Vulqatada isə latın dilinə "Abacuc" kimi keçmişdir.

Adı etimologiyası dəqiq bilinmir və formasının ivrit dilində paraleli yoxdur. Adın Akkad dilində "bağ bitkisi" mənasını verən "xambbakuku" (akkad. 𒄩𒄠𒁀𒄣𒄣, ḫâmbaququ) sözü ilə qohum olması ehtimal olunur.
