ARF6
ARF6 — (ing. ADP ribosylation factor 6) 14-cü xromosomun qısa qolunda insanlarda tapılan tək gen tərəfindən kodlanmış zülal.[5] Zülalın polipeptid zəncirinin uzunluğu 175 amin turşusu, molekulyar çəkisi isə 20.082-dir.
ARF6 çox vaxt bioloji membranların və transmembran protein yüklərinin daşınmasında iştirak edən çoxlu hüceyrə funksiyalarına malikdir. ARF6 xüsusi olaraq plazma membranı zülallarının endositozunda və həmçinin daha az dərəcədə plazma membranı zülallarının təkrar emalında iştirak edir.
Bu gen, Ras super ailəsinin[6] bir hissəsi olan insan ARF gen ailəsinin bir üzvünü kodlaşdırır.
ARF genləri vəba toksininin ADP-ribosiltransferaza fəaliyyətini stimullaşdıran və vezikulyar ticarətdə və fosfolipaz D-nin aktivatoru kimi rol oynayan kiçik guanin nukleotid bağlayan zülalları kodlayır. Bu genin məhsulu plazma membranında lokallaşdırılır və vezikulyar daşınma, membranın lipidlərinin yenidən qurulması və aktiniumun yenidən qurulmasına səbəb olan siqnal yollarını tənzimləyir. Bu genin psevdogeni 7-ci xromosomda yerləşir.[7]
ARF6 reseptorların aktivləşdirilməsindən sonra βarrestin[8] ilə qarşılıqlı təsir göstərə bilər.
