Ticarət

Ticarət əlaqələri, milliləşdirilmiş müəssisələrin iddiaları həll olunana qədər Türkiyənin ticarət müqaviləsinə qatılmaması səbəbindən təvazökar, lakin məhdud idi.

Türkiyənin bölgədəki ən yaxın müttəfiqi olan Çexoslovakiyanın Yaxın Şərqdəki İsrail əleyhinə səbəbiylə əlaqələri də gərgin idi.

1993-cü ildə Türkiyə rəsmi olaraq Slovakiya Respublikası və Çexiyanı ayrı suveren dövlətlər olaraq tanıdı. Diplomatik əlaqələr və Türkiyənin Bratislavadakı səfirliyi 4 yanvar 1993-cü ildə qurulmuşdur.

Çexiya və Türkiyə NATO İttifaqına daxil olduqdan sonra Çexiya ilə Türkiyə arasında güclü diplomatik əlaqələr, hərbi və hüquq-mühafizə əməkdaşlığı davam edir.
