Hi! I am Mariam Taleeb. My username is a combination of the words Ade and Riqueza. My enthusiasm for open source inspires me to make quality contributions to Wikipedia and its sister projects, and I am still making quality contributions to make information available to everyone( that is my goal).

Between 2021(year that I joined) and 2023, I created 20 articles:

As at October 2025, I have created 80 English Wikipedia articles of which are C-rated, 15 at start level, 40 stub, while 13 are lists.

From 1 July — 30 July 2025, I coordinated and co-organized Africa Wiki Challenge 2025 in Nigeria where we had 136 participants joined in total from 4 communities in Nigeria (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Tyap), 109 contributors with 6,800 articles created, and 20,000 articles edited. Also, Nigerian participants emerged the top three winners at the International level.

• I started my 2024 journey with Wiki Mentor Africa Hackathon where I made my first technical documentation to updating versions of texts on ISA tool homepage with a team of 9.

• Served as the Regional Ambassador (Sub-Saharan Africa Region) for Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos 2024 organizing team.

• I ended the year 2024 on an amazing note where I participated in SheSaid 2024 Event:African Women Academics where I found a hidden gem and created Azza Karam. Azza Karam has a whole lots of quotes that I personally find relatable and enlightening.
