Təsvir

Təsvir, qrafik əsər, illüstrasiya və ya rəsm — təsviri incəsənətin müxtəlif alətlərdən istifadə etməklə müxtəlif səthlərdə iki ölçülü obrazlı formaların yaradılması ilə məşğul olan sahəsidir. Bu termin ümumiyyətlə vizual effekt yaratmaq üçün nəzərdə tutulmuş bütün cizgi rəsmlərini əhatə edir.

Təsvirlə məşğul olan rəssamlara illüstratorlar, rəssamlar, qrafik rəssamlar və ya texniki rəssamlar deyilir. İllustratorların istifadə etdikləri alətlər arasında karandaş, doldurma qələm, diyircəkli qələm, mürəkkəb, yağlı boya, akvarel, quaş, tempera, pastel, mum boyası, akril boya, piqment, boya çiləyici, palitra, kətan, molbert və s. rəsm alətlərinə rast gəlmək mümkündür.
