In some situations, it is necessary for accounts to be exempted from the customary confirmation period. The confirmed group contains the same rights as the autoconfirmed group, but (on some wikis) can be granted by administrators or bureaucrats, as necessary. Stewards and system administrators can grant it on any wiki. See the list of confirmed users on this wiki.
