The **Battle of Miyana Plain** (fars. نبرد دشت میانه‎) was a decisive engagement between the Zand and Afsharid forces in mid-18th century Persia. The conflict arose from territorial disputes, with the Zands seeking to expand their dominion.

The Zand dynasty, under Karim Khan Zand, aimed to consolidate power in western Persia, while the Urmia Khanate, led by Fath-Ali Khan Afshar, resisted their expansion. The two armies clashed on the Miyana Plain in a bid for regional supremacy.

- **Zand Army (22,000 troops)**

 - Composed of heavily armored Kurdish and Persian cavalry.  
 - Commanded by Karim Khan Zand and his brothers, including Sadiq Khan Zand, who carried the Zand banner as a symbolic war standard (due to his relation to Karim Khan).  

- **Afsharid Army (6,000 troops)**

 - Elite Qizilbash cavalry under Fath-Ali Khan Afshar and Mahmud Bey Afshar.  
 - The Urmia Khanate’s flag was prominently displayed.
