English: w:Hitlerjugend w:dinner at the w:German embassy on their first day in Japan August 16, 1938 on their arrival. The white dress Hitlerjugend belts were specially commissioned by the w:Reichsjugendführung Stab (Reich Youth Directorate staff) for this event, to contrast with the uniform and make them look smarter; they were not the normal official dress issue. A Japanese youth delegation also visited Germany in 1937. |
