Beynəlxalq Ədalət Məhkəməsi

Beynəlxalq Ədalət Məhkəməsinin mənzil-qərargahı Niderlandın Haaqa şəhərində yerləşir. Ədalət məhkəməsi, Baş Assambleya və Təhlükəsizlik Şurasından seçilmiş 15 hakimdən ibarətdir. Hakimlər müxtəlif ölkələrdən seçilirlər və beləliklə də onlar, bununla dünyanın müxtəlif hüquq sistemlərinin nümayəndəsi olmaq xüsusiyyəti əldə edirlər.^[2]

Məhkəmənin yurisdiksiyasına beynəlxalq mübahisənin tərəfləri olan ölkələrin ona verdiyi işlər və BMT Nizamnaməsində və ya qüvvədə olan beynəlxalq müqavilələrdə xüsusi olaraq nəzərdə tutulmuş məsələlər daxildir. Beynəlxalq Ədalət Məhkəməsinin Nizamnaməsi BMT Nizamnaməsinin (BMT Əsasnaməsi) tərkib hissəsidir və Ədalət Məhkəməsinin iş prinsiplərini müəyyən edir.^[3]
