Əxlaq psixologiyası və ya əxlaqi psixologiya —həm fəlsəfə, həm də psixologiya sahələrini ümumi əsasda tədqiq edən bir tədqiqat sahəsidir. Tarixi baxımdan əxlaq psixologiyası termini əxlaqi inkişafın öyrənilməsinə istinad etmək üçün nisbətən dar bir mənada istifadə edilmişdir.[1][2][3] Nəticə etibarı ilə əxlaq psixologiyası etika, psixologiya və idrak fəlsəfəsinin kəsişməsindəki müxtəlif məsələləri daha geniş bir formada öyrənməyə başlamışdır.[4][5] Sahənin bəzi əsas mövzularına nümunə olaraq əxlaqi mühakimə, əxlaqi mülahizə, əxlaqi həssaslıq, əxlaqi məsuliyyət, əxlaqi motivasiya, əxlaqi kimlik, əxlaqi fəaliyyət, əxlaqi inkişaf, əxlaqi müxtəliflik, əxlaqi əsaslar, əxlaqi xarakter (xüsusən də fəzilət etikasına aiddir), altruizm, psixoloji eqoizm, əxlaqi şans, əxlaqi proqnozlaşdırma, əxlaqi emosiya, emosional proqnozlaşdırma və əxlaqi fikir ayrılığı göstərilə bilər.[6]

Müasir dövrdə əxlaq psixologiyası bioloji,[7][8] koqnitiv/hesablama[9][10][11] və mədəni[12][13] əxlaqi mühakimə və davranışın əsaslarını və süni intellekt kontekstində əxlaqi mühakimə ilə əlaqədar olan məsələlər ilə bağlı inkişaf edən tədqiqat sahəsidir.[14][15]
