| Hello, I am RadiX, a long-time community member, formerly known as RuyP. I started contributing to the Wikimedia projects many moons ago. Nowadays, I am a rather involved wikimedian, and my contributions are mainly focused on global patrolling and countervandalism related tasks. As a regular SWMT member, I mostly deal with LTAs, spambots and cross-wiki vandalism on a daily basis, but also have a reasonable bit of action in other areas such as user rights management and account renaming. Beyond that, I do a lot of behind the scenes stuff, such as the management of mailing lists and the private checkuser wiki. |

| From an administrative perspective, in November 2010 I joined the Small Wiki Monitoring Team. In June 2011, I was given the global rollbacker permission and, in March 2012, the global sysop one. In January 2015, my request for global rename permission was approved. And then, in 28 February 2015, I was elected as a steward. |

| I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am a native Portuguese speaker (pt-N), but I can understand English (en-3) and Spanish (es-2) pretty well though, while being able to write in English at a decent level (imho). I can also comprehend written French (fr-2), Italian (it-2) and Galician (gl-1), and I have a very basic understanding of Albanian (sq-0.5), Malay (ms-0.5), Slovak (sk-0.5) and Hindi (hi-0.5). |
