Background Hi, I’m Delwar Hossain (Bengali: দেলোয়ার), a Bangladeshi journalist and long-time Wikipedian with expertise in visual content development and active involvement in the open-source community. With a strong background in digital media and collaborative knowledge platforms, I’m passionate about promoting open access to information and empowering communities through visual storytelling and open knowledge initiatives. I have been contributing to Wikimedia projects since 2016, mainly focusing on content creation, community engagement, and open knowledge promotion. Since 2019, I have actively participated in and organized several offline events to promote the Bengali Wikipedia and the broader Wikimedia movement in Bangladesh. I am also the founder of the Chandpur Wikipedia Community, which operates under the local chapter Wikimedia Bangladesh. I have been proudly involved as a member of Wikimedia Bangladesh and continue to support initiatives that expand free knowledge and strengthen the open knowledge ecosystem.
