About me
Hello and welcome to my home page in Wikipedia. My name is Franck, I'm a Togolese Wikimedian from the city of Lomé, contributing most about environmental topics, culture, history and politics. I am a Forestry and geomatic engineer with a big interest in human science. I am a free knowledge and opendata advocate, I believe that everybody should have free access to information and data.
My work
I have been active in Wikimedia projects since 2020, but created an account until 2017 and became more involved in the Togo community since that date. I am mostly working on creating articles in french Wikipedia for areas that I consider are missing information.
I have co-organized and participated in different events related to Wikipedia, ranging from Edit-a-thons and "What is Wikipedia" conferences to regional and international events such as Wikimania, French speaking WikiConvention & GLAM Conference.
