VI Adrian

VI Adrian (lat. Hadrianus VI; it. Adriano VI; nid. Adrianus/Adriaan VI) və ya Adrian Florenszoon Buyyens van Utrext, Florents Dedal (nid. Adriaan Florenszoon Boeyens; 2 mart 1459, Utrext, Müqəddəs Roma imperiyası – 14 sentyabr 1523, Roma, Papa dövləti) — 1522-ci ildən Roma Papası. O, yeganə holland Papa olmuşdur. VI Adrian əslən Utrextdən idi. O, ilahiyyat professoru, sonra isə Löven Universitetinin rektoru olmuşdur. VI Adrian 1507-ci ildən gələcək imperator V Çarlzın tərbiyəçisi olmuşdur. O, 1516-cı ildə Tortoza yepiskopu, 1516-cı ildə Araqon və Navarra inkvizitoru və 1517-ci ildə oranın kardinalı olmuşdur. Qısa pontifikliyi dövründə VI Adrian uğursuz olaraq islahat aparmağa cəhd etmiş, reformasiyanın yayılmasını məhdudlaşdırmağa, Osmanlı imperiyasına qarşı müdafiə üçün Avropa hökmdarlarını barışdırmaq və birləşdirməyə çalışmışdır.
