English: The full poster as scanned does not have a perceptible copyright notice; it's likely that the poster, as printed and distributed in 1928, did not carry a notice either. But regardless of whether the original poster had a notice, the copyright for the artwork was not renewed in or (see the sections for "Artwork: Original registrations and renewals" and refer to the links). Copyright lapsed at that time. Note that the poster is a distinct work from the film and had to be renewed separately. For countries that do not apply the rule of the shorter term for US works: the artist, Alvan Hadley, died in 1976.
