English: This satellite photograph, depicting a T-10-type FLANKER fighter jet, was shown to the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives during 1984 budget hearings in 1983 and subsequently published, apparently by mistake, in the sanitized version of the hearings released to the public. Two years later, during the trial of Samuel L. Morison, government prosecutors acknowledged that the photograph was a real satellite image, and that it wasn't produced by the KH-11 Kennan system (but likely either by KH-8 or KH-9)
